Shopify
Passports on your product pages. Read-only, and nothing written back.
Connect your Shopify store and the typing stops. Passports appear on your product pages from one theme block, your catalogue goes through a green-claims check, and where your orders actually land is set against the markets you have declared.

What the connection does
Five jobs your storefront can already answer for you.
Passports on your product pages. One block in the theme editor puts the passport label on every product that has one, matched by SKU. A product without a published passport shows nothing, and the block stands down where you have already pasted an embed by hand.
A claims check across your catalogue. Your whole shop's product copy through the same green-claims detector we run on passports, with the quote and the reason for each flag. Nothing is stored and nothing is changed.
Where you actually ship, against what you have declared. Order destinations for the last 60 days, counted by country, set beside the compliance markets you have declared. Deadlines then rank by real order volume rather than by guess.
Your catalogue into the collection form. Pick products from your shop and their name, SKU and stated composition arrive filled in. Mass is deliberately left to you, because your supplier knows it and your storefront does not.
Broken passport links, found and healed. One scan checks every published passport's purchase link against the live catalogue, and offers the current link, price, image and description where a passport has drifted.
What we ask for
Three permissions, named.
A short permission screen gets read. This is the whole of it, and a test in our codebase fails the build if a fourth is ever added quietly.
- read_products
- Your catalogue. Titles, links, prices, images and descriptions. The shop's own copy, with no personal data in it.
- read_markets
- The countries you sell to. Which markets your shop is set up to sell into, so declared compliance markets can be checked against reality.
- read_orders
- Order destinations only. Destination country, counted, for the rolling 60 days Shopify grants by default. We did not request the permission that reaches further back.
What we did not ask for
The permissions we left on the table.
- No access to customers, so names, emails and addresses stay out of reach.
- No write permission of any kind, so a product, price or order cannot be edited by us.
- No order history beyond 60 days, because we asked for the narrower permission.
We cannot lose what we never held. Every one of these was a deliberate decision to reach for less.
How it works
Connected in an afternoon, live the same week.
Connect your store
You agree the data terms, Shopify asks you to confirm the three permissions, and the connection is made. Nothing is read before you agree.
Add the block
One block in your theme editor, dropped where you want the label to sit on a product page. No code, no template edits.
Run the checks
The claims check, the shipping check and the links scan all run on demand. Every result is yours to confirm before anything reaches a passport.
Passports go live
Each product with a published passport shows its label and its QR, at a permanent URL that stays live whatever happens to the connection.
Common questions
Connecting Shopify
No. The connection is read-only. We request three read permissions and nothing else, so there is no permission that would let us edit a product, a price or an order even by mistake.
